Wing Chun Kuen (Chinese: 咏春拳), commonly known as Wing Chun (Chinese: 詠春), or Ving Tsun, is a concept-based traditional Southern Chinese kung fu (wushu) style and a form of self-defence, that requires quick arm movements and strong legs to defeat opponents. Softness (via relaxation) and performance of techniques in a relaxed manner is fundamental to Wing Chun.

 

Cobra Wing Chun is a Kung Fu school for students 16yrs old and up. We follow various lineages and we are most closely linked to Ip Man (3 times removed from Ip Man). The school is warm and welcoming with students of all different grades and abilities. We pride ourselves on our commitment to the art, but more importantly our commitment to our students.

Our instructors are all highly trained and show the utmost dedication. Working with our team you will learn the full Wing Chun Kung Fu system, as we strongly believe knowledge is to be shared and we hold nothing back – this way preserving the art for future generations.
